John Lee LMHCBecause of the economy, John’s current individual office session rates are negotiable.  John also offers 15 minute local and distant phone de-stressing/ hypnosis sessions. Thus, John offers a variety of services to provide help.  John’s main purpose and mission is to “Help the Hurting”!  If you need help, please call to work out an affordable package.John accepts most insurance plans. Generally, John has found found Cigna and Humana to be an exception to the rule.  Both Cigna and Humana highly respect individual privacy and seldom require justification for services using in network providers.  John Lee LMHC is an in network provider. However, consumers need to understand most insurance companies will offer a limited number of sessions and require justification for continued services based upon medical necessity. This system requires the consumer to sign a realease of information to provide the insrance companies consumer information to justify payment for services.   Many insurance companies even require actual copies of the medical record. In John’s opinion this affects confidentiality and could keep a person from talking about what is really going on  If affordable, self pay is strongly advised.  John’s rates are affordable.John also gives back to the community by providing supportive counseling for the homeless or unemployed at either minimal or no cost.  John is an expert writer for www.goodtherapy.org and has a special interest in other Blogs regarding anxiety disorders and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.Please use the following link to pay your co pay or private pay session. The only way confidentiality is broken is in the case of a Suicidal plan level of intent, plan and means, Homicidal plan and means, or abuse of a child/elder/disabled person.  Please do not misunderstand. With major depression the wish of ”I just want to die!” is a normal symptom  and does not necessarily warrant inpatient treatment.
